When choosing formal eveningwear, Connery's Bond favoured midnight blue rather than black. He famously wore a Midnight Blue Dinner Suit in his first appearance as 007 in 'Dr No' (1962), and a Midnight Blue Velvet Jacket during his final performance in 'Diamonds Are Forever' (1971). The velvet jacket was worn with Midnight Blue Dinner Suit Trousers by Anthony Sinclair, cut with plain fronts and DAKS tops.
This recreation of the original design has been produced as part of a 60-piece collection to celebrate six decades of Bond style.
